Reggio Emilia Institutet. Sverige är ett av de länder i världen som har mest och intensivast utbyte med pedagogerna i Reggio Emilia. Efter två stora och uppmärksammade utställningar på Moderna Museet i Stockholm på 1980-talet om de kommunala förskolorna i Reggio Emilia bildades Reggio Emilia Institutet 1992. The Wonder Project design reflected the Reggio Emilia approach, in particular the idea of the child as collaborator and the environment as third teacher (Strong-Wilson and Ellis 2007). The Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education views young children as individuals who are curious about their world and have the powerful potential to learn from all that surrounds them.
